Climate of Rajasthan

Rajasthan
The coldest, driest time over number of the country is from December to February, when light northerly winds carry clear skies and little rain, and nights can constantly be chilling. Rajasthan is tremendously hot March to May, with temperature from time to time exceeding 50% C, and averages are well into the Forties.
From June to October temperature dropped a bit but it remains hot and humid, with many times severe showers, though not the extreme rainfall assessed to many other parts of India.

This region receives less than four hundred mm of rain in an average year. Temperatures can go beyond 45 °C in the summer months and drops below freezing in the winter.
