Women's Dresses:
The women outfit in either sarees or ghaghra cholis. Sarees may be either one cotton or silk and are generally exaggerated. Tie and Dye, Bandhani and block published textiles are the mutual choice.Colored stones, tinsels and silken threads are used to create amazing floral mores and traditional motifs and enhance the rich look of the saree. Depending on the economic fullness of the family the embroidery or zari work may be done with golden and silver threads and semi valuable gems may replace the showy colored stones. The Odhni is an essential part of the Rajasthani women's attire and deserves special cite. It is usually a long piece of cloth (generally 3 meters by 2 meters). Though usually banded up with the Ghagra Choli or Lehengas, it is also wored over a saree on special dignified occasions. One end of it is grubbed into the skirt or saree at the waist.

Men's Attire:
Banda, Pachewara, Bugatari,and Khol outline the traditional costume of the rural men. An Angrakhi or a Jhari is a jacket like cloth worn to cover the upper body. A dhoti is a long white cloth skillfully worn around the waist and festooned  to form gracefully loose breeches. The Angrakhi may be small frock styled known as â kamari angarakhaâ or long knee length garments. A shawl or Dhabla saluations the men’s attire. Muslim men are set to wear Achkans and Kurtas. The kamarband or patka is a waistband (mostly simply a piece of cloth tangled across the waist) that aids in holding a weapon or arm tucked into it. The headgears of men are special and fabulous. Pencha, Sela, Saafa, Potia and Pagri are all an mixed bag of headgear sported by the men of the state. The Pagri is the most enormous among these. It is usually 82 feet long and an 8 inch broad piece of cloth.

Accessories:
The customary footwear of Rajasthani women deserves special mention. The use of golden thread, beads and spangles in these patterned footwear make them elegant souvenirs. The female folk from weel to do families wear specially embroidered and sequined slippers or chappals called jootis or mojaris.  These are mostly formed of sheep, camel or goat hide and the designs are created on the velvet casing enclosed to the leather. These are soft and extremely comfy to use. Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ramjipura and Jobre are world famous for their knottily and finely designed Jootis. The nobles and royals adept a tradition of handing down their Meenakari and Kundan ornaments to the daughter-in-law to keep these desirable prizes in the family. The heavy jewellery which forms part of the woman’s ensemble is also remarkable. Some tribes use only brass jewellery but the more wealthy families treasure their heirlooms of silver and gold jewellery.
